Hicks, who served as team captain in ECU’s first year of volleyball competition in 2008, was named Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year and was an All-Lone Star Conference First Team pick after leading ECU with 787 assists (6.30 per set) and also collected 263 kills (third on the team) with a .270 hitting percentage (10th best in the LSC)...Hicks was also named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her academic achievements...She was the first player ever signed to the Lady Tigers’ volleyball program after transferring from Texas Tech University where she was second on the squad in assists with 422 for a 5.08 average in 2006...Earned a first team all-district award and was named as the district’s setter of the year as a senior at Round Rock High School.
